are they worth the money and effort of fitting them? I have an auto so not hugely worried about a hand brake being not brilliant. Mine works on the 2nd to last click.
I prefer to put the handbrake on in N then with till it holds then put it in P. It stops the P pin from being under strain. I learnt this off a LR experience instructor from a you tube video  :D

I got one for my 200Tdi .If I,m honest I,ve not been too impressed with it.I,ve just got the 300Tdi and its one of the few things I dont think I will be swopping over

 Oh. Julie wants one on the TDi when she gets it back, the handbrake on that is shocking and it's a manual.

My handbrake is lousy too, just like every other LR I've ever had, apart from the 101 which had a great handbrake until it got contaminated with oil
I'd quite like an x-brake but can't quite justify spending 200 quid on a better handbrake.

Thing is the handbrake on the LSE is mint, probably as it's not had much use. The one on Blue is fine, but then I've stripped it and cleaned it. The one on the TDi is uselss though, it's the direct entry type and a new cable made no difference, there's nowt else to fix on it either.

personally, im completely the opposite and if im honest, it is the best thing i have spent money on my 90 for. absolutely cracking bit of kit. best thing about it is it still works after a day of heavy playing.
mind you, i do like to have a good handbrake.

Do you want to sell it?
