In the beginning...
http://members.mud-club.com/profiles/ChrisW70/gallery/Project

Then we got as far as
http://members.mud-club.com/profiles/ChrisW70/gallery/Ltwt1

and that's about as far as we did get!

It needs a new rear cross member, couple of outriggers, brakes sorting and tidying up etc etc etc - was sat in a back garden for 9 years doing nothing.

We had a battery on it and the engine is nice and free and we even got a spark out of it so its more of a matter of time to get to it and get the work done now.

It also 'appears' to be a genuine station wagon - the hard top and sides are correct for the year (79-80) and have enough layers of paint on to match up with the rest of the panels!
It also had the full winterised kit, heater etc but the first chap who bought it decided to rip all that out and bin it

That's a great project mate, look's to me like you have the 5 bearing engine as well  :D
Is there a date on the side of the engine? (rocker cover right hand side)

I wish I could afford another off roader, still trying to decide if I want to modify the Frontera or not.
