After posting this question (http://www.mud-club.com/forum/index.php/topic,61497.0.html) whilst looking for a video-clip, I found this combination.
I presume it's the same vehicle?? (same person added them)
Before

During

After

I know both roads in question, & went through the 'During' & 'After' flood before it got anywhere near that deep (it was only at bumper depth)
Viewing this Multi-Map (http://www.multimap.com/maps/?hloc=GB|fairburn#map=53.74299,-1.28493|14|4&dp=904&loc=GB:53.74299:-1.28493:14|fairburn|Fairburn,%20Knottingley,%20West%20Yorkshire,%20England,%20WF11%209) link. 'Before' was taken on Newton Lane, just west of Fairburn village (practically where the '11', for 'height above sea-level' is on the map)
'During' & 'After' are taken further west along that lane, where there's a lane (Ledston Mill Lane) to the north leading into Ledston, the Shogun is stranded where the stream/'pond' meet at the road.
Coincidentally, I rode all the way along there on Friday morning too, on my way home from Sherburn (then south down the A656 into Castleford)

I would say the 54 plate L200 is dead!
I don't think they knew what were doing.

Some people are so stupid [-X

I agree its stupid or maybe just very ill informed, but I think its a high price to pay (although no doubt insurance coughed up!). Provided thay were not bothering other road users or damaging the countryside I dont think its a huge problem, although it does not help the image of 4x4's.
Im sure when we had the floods I saw a ford ranger stuck ina big puddle/small flood in stroud, cars were getting through so I think they were playing (making big splash) and flooded it! plonker.
