Title: Cylinder Head Gasket
Post by: Andy the Landy on July 10, 2005, 19:40:24
Should it be cemented on or put on dry :?
Cheers
Andy
P.S. the replacement gasket is of the none re-torque type if that makes a differance

Though there is 2 types of gasket, cant remember the details of it at the mo though.

Edited...
Just found a little piece on the book,

"If a copper-asbestos gasket is being used, smear clean engine oil on the cylinder block and cylinder head gasket joint faces"

Just to confuse matters
