Guys, cue all sorts of responses, obviously.........
What's the difference between a three bolt and a four bolt steering box?
"one bolt" ..................... there, beat you to the first one !
Serioulsy tho...are they inter changeable, as I can get my hands on a four bolt easily, but three bolters seem like rocking horse poo second hand ....
Mine is marking it's territory so much it's just stopped working again with hopefully an air lock.......

4 bolt has metric threads & 3 bolts have imperial, i think
-
I was told the mounting is different. I maybe able to get a hold of one if i get a rangy I've been offered.
-
mountings are the same for 99% of the steering box's,its the pipes that are different, also the drop arm internal size changes on the early ones
-
Sorry, 3 bolts are like rocking horse poo  . I can't give them away.
-
You can certainly give away in my direction RRB !!
-
Have I to start looking for it then?
-
Please RRB...drove mine all day yesterday with no power assistance and today I can't feel my arms !!
Depends how much you want for it on how quick I can have it tho.....skint y'see!!
Cheers
