Title: Nuts
Post by: AndrewG on March 17, 2007, 18:17:12
Well, was going to spend the day fitting a 3" lift kit to my ZJ.

Turns out that the track bar (anti-roll bar?) nut at the axle end has seized. Determination means that I've nicely rounded the bolt head too. According to the instructions, I need to remove this bolt to fit a new bracket (to cope with change in height).

Anybody got any ideas? Tempted to grind it down to something I can grip, then try again. Failing that, drilling it out and getting hold of a new flag nut and bolt.

Still, managed to fit the shocks at least which was the most urgent.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Will wait for warmer weather before playing under the car again...
