Title: 110 chassis

does any one know how much you have to cut out of a 110 chassis to make a 93" chassis for off-road use.

because iv bin told the 110 chassis is a deper chassis than a RRC or a Disco chassis there for its stronger.

110 refers to the wheel base of the vehicle not the length of the chassis. what you need to do is measure from the centre line of the front wheels to find out where 93" will take you and that is where the new axle Spring, shocker mounts have to be fitted. I don't know why you'd want to bother as I've never heard of a chassis bending or breaking whilst off roading as a result of a design problem. It tends to be caused by crashing into things and a defender chassis is just as prone to damage as a RR or disco one in those situations.

I've shortened a few chassis' in my time, to ARC spec.

thanx m8 ill keep that in mind

will i have to change the spring seats on the rear of the chassis because there biger springs than a 90 has on.

Why not just use a 90 chassis? ...or just cut the overhangs off the 110 chassis?
Cutting & shortening a chassis isn't as easy as it sounds & if not done correctly the weld will be the weakest part!
