Hi,
I'm new to this forum! I brought my first landrover in Dec 06 for work (towing) and to have some fun with my horse. I was completely stitched up by the garage who sold it to me (typical - she won't know - she's a woman situation)! Since then, I learnt allot, replaced allot and keen to get out and do more with it!

hello and welcome to the club :D

hi and welcome to the club :) myself and Hissy are regional reps for the Warwickshire area and have organised a pub meet which is just a general chat about anything you like and a drink to get to know everyone local in the club and also we talk about any laning trips or events that we will be holding during the month, its held on the last Monday of every month which unfortunately you have just missed  keep an eye on the regional meet section for the next one :) we have a few other members that join us at the pub meet from your area so keeps your eyes peeled :)

Hi,
Thank you for making me feel welcome! :D I've not been in this area for very long, so it would be really good to get out and about meeting people. Really would like to go green laning as I have never been.
-
Will the end on month meeting always be in the same place? The Roseycombe Inn, Binley Woods?
-
yes thats the place its always held as it is central for most warwickshire members with easy access north and south warwickshire and the landlady normally puts a small spread on free of charge :)

There were about 15-20 of us on Monday but it's only the second meet so we are still recruiting as it were!
No.... it's not me! Not that I'm shy you understand... but if you know anything about skiing look at the equipment () It was taken in the 70's... and whilst I had started skiing, I was a young schoolkid at the time! [-X
Keep in touch with DiscoMike & Hissy, they are out most every weekend doing something...

Ahh, makes sense now, no I don't work on a yard, but have done both in England and aboard. Generally find that the horses are better behaved then the employer!

Nice to see other horsey people on here, there are one or two women but not many of us males, especially ones that made a living from horses.
Anyway good to see you here
