Title: Thinking about a 101....

Have a search around, a couple of us chipped in to another recentish thread with pointers on where to look and what to look for.

Apparently the 101 is in good condition & runs sweet as a nut. The Ambulance body has been stripped out, this is ok as he wants to turn it into a camper anyway...here's to 10hours in a 7.5Tonne recovery lorry to get the damn thing!! ](*,)

I'm sure you already know this but make sure your recovery lorry has a payload of at least 3.5 tonnes. The ambi is plated at 3650kgs. I've been told in the past that they really need a 13tonner to transport them.

You need a very big truck to transport a 101. took me ages to find someone to move mine when i bought it.

The 101 is solid & has some minor faults, should be MOT'd by the end of week...Â£1200...bargain 8)
