Title: Isuzu 4x4 wont engage

Has any 1 got any ideas why the 4x4 wont engage when you press the button on a 1999 trooper?

Check the vac pipes for leaks or splits at the ends.

  :D iv jst bought my self a trooper commercial and have not totlay familiarized myself with the truck. the 4x4 button dosent seem to respond at all when you push it it dosent light up or anything and was wondering if the button its self was faulty or like Drift said the vac pipes have split at the ends.
not being usto the truck yet were would i find the vac pipes to cheak and how hard are they to change?

On the top of the front axle is a block of vaccuum pipes and soliniods - check all of these over.
