Changing a clutch if you've never done it before is a 4 hours job

The engine box and axles together are probably worth £150 - £200 in real terms. You could try sticking the engine on ebay if you've stripped it out and it's clean and on a pallet - you might get a few quid more. The box would probably get £50, and the axles are only of interest to people with frontera's who are fed up with the cheese GM units.

Probably not unless it's got a ticket on it. Although you'll be getting rid of the whole thing in one go.

You'll be alreet getting the box back in, just remember that the natural position for the engine is slightly higher at the front, so the box needs to be bell housing up before the input shaft will slide in.  Only a couple of degrees, but it's enough to give a couple of hours of cursing.
