I know its been asked many times before but where can i get insurance?
I am 17 and have tried every insurance company under the sun!
Its a 1966 Series 2A Truck cab a 2.25 diesel.

try the Farmers Union of wales / National Farmers Union
With the FUW i got insurance for my 63 diesel for 500 oddk
looking at your sig, the mod's won't help your insurance

last i heard the NFU had stoped insuring under 25s, i rang up for a quote and was told to come back when i were 25.

Yea i just found that out too, gonna try local brokers tommorow, and see if there are any insurance people at the gaydon show.

yea, most are like no old vehicles or pick ups or no under 25's but will try again.

i'm only 17 and no issues wit the FUW. Try going to the local office rather than just ringing them

Sureterm have a thing with Norwich Union, a special 4x4 section, not too sure on the age limits though but worth a punt though

dude try lancasters their a landrover specialist not the cheepest but worth a punt i have had nelly insured with them since i got her at 19

Footman James insured my truck 88'' CSW for £620 on my own policy, limited miles to about 3000 give or take the speedo working or not :lol:

i tried footman james cant remember which technecality they used to not insure me lol, twas either to young, or the truck is too old.

I was with footman and james on my series since i was 16, im now with adrain flux, they deal with more mod'ed landies i think!

im gonna give them ago cheers, also sureterm direct. the ones who can do it want the cars value a year to insure it!

good luck! id guess your looking at around 700 quid these days, most mods shouldn't affect insurance unless its a power upgrade.

adrian flux are quite good but youwill find that even things like a snorkel fitted can change your insurance slightly good luck
