I hate to tell you this but there is no way that tank is going in that garage

Looks really nice though, but now get the drill and cutter out and get modding

Getting muddy is first on the list. I'm going to enjoy caking it in mud, but keeping that new car smell inside!

The engine is a beauty. It makes the TD5 feel so tense. Adding that 6th gear is the best idea they had.

True about the garage door. The Tank is 23mm too tall! I'll have to put a washing machine in the back to get it in the garage! Despite living in Essex, i'm not an Essex Boy and so will NOT be lowering the Defender so that it scrapes speed bumps and therefore fits inside the garage.

Mud, scratches and dents here we come....

I'd happily swap with LSP for the day! I would pull virtually everyone over i think. There must be a course for the Rozzers - oopps, i mean the Police - to manage their road rage.

I don't remember who it was on MC who told the story, but my favourite Copper comment on pulling over a speeder was:

"Having trouble taking off are we, Wing Commander?"

Brilliant. I suppose it's with wit like this that they are able to avoid using every four letter expletive whenever they pull over a fool!

Does anyone else smell bacon?

Very smart but do the line of rivets between the middle doors and the wheel arch not drive you potty ?
Get a touch up kit and paint 'em black
Can't beleive Land Rover still don't paint them

Not any more! I now drive a desk! To quote from 'Full Metal Jacket'
"I've had my ass in the grass, now I'm in the rear with the gear!"
The BMW 330 estate was a good car to drive, but not too good on the rural sectors though. The pot holes used to regularly break the wheels and it woud always ground out on the ruts. It didn't like green lanes much either!
My old Plod Defender in Norfolk was much more fun! Especially chasing TGB's across the Fens! "You picked the wrong county to haul ass through, boy!"
