Hi i have a little problem and im looking for pointers !! For my sins i own a Ford galaxy 1.9tdi (1998) and recently it has been hard to start so i have put new heater plugs in it and now she fires and chuffs out loads of smoke (i guess unburnt diesel) it eventually fires up but can take 20 mins to go i have also noticed air in the fuel system ( guessing a fractured fuel hose) well i have now eliminated the air prob but my prob still there any one got any knowledge in these cars as to what it may be ?
When i took out the heater plugs (glow plugs) i noticed one was coated in oil what would be the problem there ?? It is my spare car and only does about 2000 miles ayear Any thoughts welcomed on this one Many thanks Mark
