how do i check these at home or get a ecu readout?
-
on a pre '98 grand ,to get the fault code ,turn the ignition on off on off on and any fault code should appear on the milometer. 12 always shows up which is the reset one,ie power was disconected to reset the ecu. haynes manuals list the fault codes.
hope this helps

FWIW ...think some are listed in the owners manual

Just tried it and it works on my '97 grand.Turn the key from the off position to the first position(steering lock off). From there to the ignition on position and back twice and leave on the third time. took me a few tries the first time. Anyone else ......
Failing this it'l be a trip to somewhere with the right diagnostic tool.
