Title: steering damper .... I am confused!!
Post by: bobtailed disco on April 12, 2012, 13:11:00
Hi all
Just taken delivery of a Delphi de carbon steering damper (listed on box as a Bearmach BA2247) but it isn't acting as i would expect, as soon as i took the band off it extended out all the way just like a shock. Won't this make it stear one way? or is this how the gas ones are?
cheers Rob

I fitted one on Blue, damned good damper.  I would say that if you have a lifted car with no castor correction you may notice it drift to the left but with about 3 degrees of castor it makes precious little difference.
