Hello people
Question for you , want to fit a 350 chevy to my 1988 110 but cannot decide on gearbox . As I see  it I have three choices a)zf auto b) santana or c) 700r4 ,I know I can make them all fit . Engine will be 300-350 HP an
nd similar torque. Cant  see the wood for the trees

Torqueflight 3 speed from an early Range Rover isn't a bad option.   I'd be a bit worried about running that much power/torque through a ZF box.

Hello Again
Update on gearbox issue . Adapter plate company only does 4&5 speed gearboxes ,so have rethought problem. Been in contact with a mate who has run a 8litre chevy of road racer through a 4 speed manual and had a 7.4 can am motor through a santana on a road going 110. He says a santana will take a 350 horse v8 but suggests I swap the front axle for a late 110 one . Whilst I trust his info , I would appreciate any opinions any of the drive train issues
Cheers
