I think I may need to replace the rear shocks on my 2 inch lifted 94 Disco, can anyone recommend brands, suppliers and prices. I currently have Monroe Gas 4x4 fitted.......................Thanks

I'm running +2" ProComp ES9000's and I think they came in at about £39 a corner.
I had a set on my old Rangie as well and not had any problems with them, they've got my recommendation.

Totally agree had esp9000 on my 90 for the past couple of years had no problems, bought them as a package with springs, think it was about 280 direct from Explorer Pro Comp.
Life time guarantee on the shocks

Make sure you fit them the right way round.
Hay Phil

I'd echo the recommendation for the ProComp.. they've done the job for me in the past.
For a "deluxe" item, you just can't beat OME.. but they are a bit more pricey.

This is correct :?
(must add I didn't fit them in the first place, a qualified engineer did)
so i'm told

That's good to hear as that's what I'm getting

I've just replaced a pair of ProCOmp with another, they don't last forever and the limited guarantee swung it for me. I find the ride b****y hard though compared to standard and I was thinking of fitting DeCarbon, though these are more expensive and only have a 2 year waranty which, as I say, decided it.
