Title: jimny arb help?

is there such a thing as a stiffer anti roll bar available for jimny's? a quick google didn't give much so any help would be good. cheers in anticipation.

ive had a quick search and cant see anything about uprated ARB's

close and vigarous inspection does not show any obvious defects but the body roll is enough to make my dad whos car it is motion sick.. so the idea is just to reign it in a bit.

Maybe get another from the scap yard and clamp it to the original to double the stength? or work out how to fit one to the rear too.

thought about that but was worried that it was too obviously a moddification in the event of an rtc from the view of the insurance, where as a heavier one is less immediatly wrong. another thought put forward was new gas dampers but i don't know enough about their durability? ie how long would they last befor the roll reasserted it's self?

Sounds like the shocks are shot.

Gas shocks are an upgrade over oil filled ones for higher speed driving. They don't heat up like oil and loose their 'damping'.

The factory ARB should be more than sufficent. If your trying to bodge a 2nd arb in then it's exactly that. Something is wrong and your trying to bodge it.
