Title: 1989 f reg sj hub nut

anyone know the size of them or is it a case of hammer an punch??? there are two nuts an inner one and an outer lockin one.

I think its 52mm or 50mm I always use a chisel and a hammer once the locking tabs are folded flat you can tap it round.

I cannot remember now, but its the same size as a "Ford Transit Hub Nut" - therefore the cheap Ford Transit socket from the motor factors fits (mine cost £5) instead of the expensive "Hub Nut Socket" at £15.

If you are still stuck for a size I will look  in the garage at home and see whats written on the socket.
