Title: Alternator...

Post by: Mighty_zuke on August 22, 2007, 22:43:24: I got one off an MPI engine and it was different to mine. but aslong as its a carb fed engine then I think it should fit (Presuming yours is a carb!)

I'm on my third allty now, Must stop going wading!

Post by: Evilgoat on August 23, 2007, 11:21:20: as long as the base engine is the same 1.6 you shouldnt have any issues. Have had 1.6 CFI, Carb and possibly an MPI (75A) alternator on mine. Just wish they'd last longer.

Its my own fault, all been second hand ones, current one had a brand new brush box and has survived thus far...

Post by: pornstar on August 23, 2007, 22:23:38: ford dieasel alternators will fit straight on if it's a 3 pin spade plug. Might help you. :)
