Title: my new sj ragtop ;)
Post by: ant&vic on June 02, 2007, 09:30:40
this 1s alot better than the last 1,this 1 is a 5 speed sj410 sport which the chassis was in a sorry state when i bought it so i used my original chassis and just put this body onto it!

its now on the road with 12months m.o.t and a months tax! only thing im doing to this is having a set of rubber for it! oh and painting black tiger stripes over it so it stands out! when i bought it it had brand new white roof and yellow bonnet plus a white door  so i went mad with orange paint ;)

so what do you guys think? this one drives better, no wirring or whining noises from it and feels alot safer on the road!

The wires from front corner of the bull bar to the top corner of the roof  8)

When going through bushes they keep the bush away from the windscreen

Legally a bit dodgy for road use, not pedestrian friendly   but neither is being run over by a car

Lets just say....on another area of this very forum, there was hell , fire , and brimstone for a member with wires. For my opinion its up to you, but I tell ya, if the mudclub gestapo catch up with you, it'll be a firing squad at dawn m'boy!
