Owt serious at the moment but I'm loosing oil from the back of the T case, cant see where yet. Any ideas?
-
usually from the front prop seal. or mine used to have a little cry out the out put shaft so it used to run down where the gear box mets the tacase so you cant find the leak as it comes from multiple places
I also found i ordered the seals from zuki and none were the right fit so i ended up using semi hardering gasket sealer to put them back in with which did the trick

Might order the seals over the week and drop the t-case. Need to look at the carb too :(

evilgoat : did you have a play about with ya truck, hows it running now.?
-
i fink he said its stoped leaking... but not sure if its run out of stuff to leak rather than just stopped

Still running rich, not as bad though.
I have a sinking suspicion she just needs a few hours of tlc and gallons of wd40.

have you tried timing?
if its over fueling it may just be a cloged air fillter, not sure if you have tried any of these.
hope you get it sorted

Timing: did that when I discovered I had retarded the ignition so far it was pretending to be a flamethrower and starting backwards(thanks gen-x for poinintg that out)
Air filter: Doesnt have one atm, well, a bit of stocking to catch the big stuff. And thats helped big time. New one on order.
I have a deep suspicion that its my own fault or just a seized/nadgered vacuum servo on the carb.
