hi robbie, had loads of chew with the carb on my suzi 413,after lots of trial and error with other suzi carbs i gave up the ghost and bought a 2nd hand carb off a Hyundai pony 1.3,this went straight on with only a choke cable to buy and 8mm studs in to the manifold instead of bolts, only cost me 20 quid from the scrappy, the suzi is now 100% better, hope this helps m8
ps know what you mean about r/rays prices

Do you realy whant to play about with the carb, unless theres a problem with it. I have a sj413 and have been playing off road with it and have found no probs with it exept it thinks its a V8 and drinks fual.

Thanks Lads, I am just concerned the carb is gonna give me issues. We have only just got the Suzie in the last few weeks but it no power what so ever driving back from Luton up North....... Timing was out a bit but not much but it just seems to be running a bit. . . . . well crap I guess.
We are to try it out off road early March and I guess it will depend on how it performs there as to what we decide to do with it, I just have heard so many probs with the carbs I thought I'd better check it out with the guys who know :) just in case

Yeeh there are lots of them that fit, the trouble is they wont pass the emmissions on the MOT. We have a 32 DMTL on there at the moment, runs great but I had to swap it back for the crap Aisin one for the MOT............ where theres a will theres a way :)

T'Other Arf had a 413. The standard carb was a pain. :(  Either it would stall or rev it's what sit's off.  Fitted a Weber with manual choke and the transformation was spot on.  :) The fuel consumption improved also. :D

cheers Stormin, we have a 32 DMTL on there at the moment as the 'recommended' Weber is not really available. I have heard that they are to change from the present 32 DGR to the 32 DMTL anyway so i will wait for the correct settings which will hopefully sort out any emission issue I have.
