Title: Import pajero 2.5- can it run veg oil/diesel mix?

A friend of mine has a 2.5td pajero (1992) can he run a veg oil/diesel mix? if so what proportions?

It should run fine on it.  You'll get lots of various views on the mix to use, personally on my old 2.5 I did 50/50 just to be on the safe side.

nearly a 50/50 mix n runs just as well as diesel only :smiley:

mine is a little older (1988) - runs perfectly on a 50/50 mix. on longer runs, i do 85/15, but i do find i have to fill up and go, or its a bit harder to start.

I ran my 2.8 on 70/30 mix in the summer (yeah, I know... what summer!)... it started and ran fine in the warmer weather... not so easy in the cold.  ;)

Running my 1990 2.5 lwb at 50/50 for a couple of months now.....no probs  ;)
