Title: looking for a landcruiser

I am going for it - been speaking about it for long enough but I am now gonna take the plunge a buy a Landcruiser

so I am now trawling the ads for a landcruiser colorado VX 3.0 d4d auto.

Would like a silver or black one if possible

dunno about that - been after one for a while as the missus likes them, I appear to be giving in to the pressure !

went and had a look at a couple at the weekend - a rather nice 51plate VX in metallic maroon - she didnt like it cos of the colour of the interior - beige...  i liked it , drove really well.

then saw an immaculate GX , nice car but not enough toys!

just spotted a nice one on exchange and mart in black n silver - just emailed the guy for some more info.

the worrying part is that I am actually enjoying myself and looking forward to getting one.

or have I been well and truly brainwashed
 :shock:

cant wait to offroad it (when i get one).

so i guess you are getting a newer one rather than the older types.

its to replace an escpace that we have as our family car. the defender is definatley staying!

I thought that we needed something 'sensible' to take the kids to school in that is only 2mins walking time up the road!  he he

In that case, make sure you don't know how to reverse it properly.. or park...    :lol:

good point Tim :D  My wife also needs to learn to park on zig zag lines as well!

i live directly opposite the village primary school and its on a dead straight road but the amount of times i see cars mount the pavement obstructing pedestrians is untrue!

Still looking for a Landrcuiser colorado vx d4d auto around 3yrs old.  tried Autotrader and exchange and mart but aint having too much luck.

if any of you guys are bored and fancy a little surfing around the net to find one please let me know!

Need to get one by the 30th July for me holidays - goin to France to do a bit of camping and generally rub it in that we won the olympics.
