Any one got experience in fitting, or have fitted a "rebel" steering gaurd, arrived to day and had a quick look, the fitting doesn't seem that clear cut, involving drilling holes into the chassis, however the only possible place for it would be too close to the spring and the track rod causing problems with the steering.
Are they more trouble than they are worth :?: You may well see it on the for sale forum... so if any body is interested in a new series 3 steering gaurd let me know!!

ive got a rebel steering gaurd on mine. All u have to do is to undo the front spring bolt and then get someone to hold the steering gaurd while u put the bolts back thought the first set of holes on the gaurd the tighten up the spring bolts or if ur going to sell it how much do u want it for?

Just to let you know i have fitted it now using that website you suggested... Went on a treat. So therefore will not be for sale :). However still disapointed that i had to modify the design, which could clearly be altered to fit the holes already present!
Thanks for info

I had the same problem. Bl**dy annoying. Only paid a tenner for mine, but you do expect these things to fit..
