Title: Vauxhall Brava 2.4TD.......Are they any good?
Post by: stratie on February 04, 2009, 07:37:14
Not sure if this is the right forum to ask about the Brava?
But if it is, can any one tell me if they are any good off road?

They are basically a LWB frontera 'a' on leafs, or a LWB mk1 trooper (more trooper since they have the isuzu 10 bolt front and 12 bolt rear diffs).

Do you mean 2.5Td ;)

The would be very good off road for general use, only bit of a down side may be a little light in the tail, but should be an issue unless your really hammering it.

Make sure you get the Turbo one!

We had a 2.5 NA one as a Coastguard Vehicle a few years ago, it was embarrasing!! Hoofing along with the blues and twos going until you get to  hill, turn it all off and crawl up the hill then turn it all back on again and go for it.
