I know this is mention else where, but thought I'd move it here.
Really like the idea of this one. Perhaps not now but one time in the future I'd look into it. So how easy would it be, and where would you start the soft top from (at what point on the roof). You'd have to modify the rear door to as well?
-
I suppose also I'd have to lose the roof rack and rear ladder unless you put a cage over the top?
-
Depends whether you want a convertible in the car sense or a canvas in the series Land-Rover sense? The latter probably wouldn't be too hard.
-
Matthew, thinking more along the lines of series LR canvas. Bit like the double cab with canvas rear section, think it would look really neat :D
-
i had spoken about this recently i think it might have been billing
the soft top couldnt keep the existing shape as the back end rises and on a softtop i think it would be difficult to emulate this too much
in all fairness it would only be used on days like these anyway.

Arh but if you go along the line of thought as having the same as a series canvas rear, should'nt be to much of a problem, they cope all year round?
-
true
but i think that if i was going to do it it would be a 3dr possibly bobtailed
-
Suppose which ever way you go you'll hit some problems and there is the cost for it to be done right.
Maybe a long way down the line if we keep it that long and want a change will look into more, but for now things are fine as they are :D
