The 101 rear box is blowing quite a bit; probably beyond the extent that silly putty will help.
It's not going to be an off-the-shelf item, so any recommendations as to where I can take it (Surrey/Berks/Hants border area, preferably) to get a new one?
Cheers,
David

What fittings does it have on it ? What sort of dimensions ?
Might be worth a slight re-jig and fit a more 'standard' box on there to save hassle in the future.
Plenty of suitable boxes on RR / 90 / 110 systems for not much money.

I'll measure up next time I see it, but what I should probably have said is that it could well be a standard box, but the pipework will be custom, I strongly suspect. Is that bread and butter stuff to an exhaust specialist? The only exhausts I've ever replaced before have been plug-n-play.

Your local exhaust "specialist" will probably look at you as if you have 3 heads :-)
Hard to say without seeing it, but it could well be a 'bitsa'... with sections from various vehicles. You got any piccies ?

What about a pair of trucker side stacks,
or could you redirect the exhaust through the roll cage, now that would be different
One thing though if you have an exhaust specialist near you might be worth a visit, check through the custom car sites, must be one down there somewhere

Side stack would be rather cool - wonder if I could find anybody to run me one up? There's a truckesque IIa FC knocking around in Wales with one, and I've seen another 101 as well.
The trouble is, after the off-road course at Malvern I realised that the roll cage is probably best kept as the outermost part of the vehicle :)
I'll try to get a photo next time I visit the 101.
