Are you going to part-exchange your name too ? ;-)
-
Maybe "Ladycheekie"
-
Or Ladywithacherry
-
Cher(i)o kee Freelander!
:?
How's the Jeep?
Mate of mine has a 53 Jeep Cherokee Overlander (is that right, not up on my Jeep models)
He loves it and, to be honest, it is nice.
-
Well at least you have a real 4x4 now instead of a school runner! lol
-
Oh yes Rubicon trail rated
-
Smart move IMHO as a Freelander isnt what i`d call a real 4x4 ,and they arent good at pretending to be one neither.Im not a fan of Landrovers but at least the Rangerovers,Defenders and Discoveries have a fair amount of offroad credability but the Freelander has as much credability offroad as a shopping trolley

Some harsh words there about Freebies off road :( They may not have live axles, etc but once the kit is on, they are very capable. Not that I did anything extreme to mine - just laning and bashing it a bit  The Jeep was meant to be a pure business move - needed more load space, bigger engine and better MPG. Got the lot and more and I'm chuffed to bits with it  I'm not changing my name: Ladyfreebie because everyone who lanes with us in Glos knows that's my CB handle.
-
Worth you visiting BirtyDastards then
-
I don't think I'm ready to put my Jeep through that :? I resigned as Freelander Club secretary to just getting used to be a non-Land Rover gal. Hubby, Tazman, still has his Discovery so when we visit Billing on Sunday I'm going to look for a sticker that says "My other car is a Land Rover" and Tazman wants one that says "Jeep recovery vehicle" :D
-
Thought it was always Jeeps pulling out the landies :?: :?: :?:
-
It's more about keeping one foot in each camp and staying friends
-
You recon! :? :? :?
-
I've got mates who drive other 4b's
No problem with it
-
You haven't got any mates!!
I can't see anything wrong with Landies.........
Someone has to be second best!!
Hello everybody!
-
We need landies........for entertainment value!
-
There alright on there own :D
Its when they gang up in a pack they get lairey

You obviously talk as somebody who has never taken one offroad.
They're pretty capable vehicles and the relatively light weight, coupled with the traction control, means you can go many places a larger 4x4 would get.
I think you're getting confused between what you think the vehicle looks like, and reality :) The credibility is there if you go looking for it.
-
Well they do use them on the G4 challenge I suppose
Must agree about the packs of landies tho
-
I just can't look at the sticker Tazman still has on his Disco "Jeep Recovery Vehicle" But he's had to admit, when I've taken the Cherokee laning and used 4WD, etc, he was pretty amazed at the capabilities compared to my old Freelander.
I'll see what Land Rover do with Freelander2. Even then, I'll wait a few years before MAYBE buying one, just so's the teething problems are ironed out  For now, as McDonald's say "I'm lovin' it" :D I'm not sure I can keep up the name of "Ladyfreebie" any longer - everyone knows I don't have a Freelander now!
-
Hey BF, do you smell of Nuns
-
Speckled Hens maybe
