The pump has packed in, so I need to replace it.
The local main-dealer has one on the shelf, which he's put to one side for me.
Now..... I lent my long cross-headed screw-driver to someone. So....
Is it possible to replace the pump without removing the washer-bottle & does the pump twist/push/clip into place????
I'm going for the pump now & would ideally like to install it before getting ready for work.
Thanks in advance to whomever replies to this

Well I tried to take it out on my return from Guy Salmon, it was quiet as Joanne had had her leaving do last night & was still in bed* - & Amelia was sleeping at Grannies.
So as the parts-man suggested, twisted it a bit. Wouldn't budge - twisted it a bit more.
SNAP!!
"[!Expletive Deleted!]!!", as it broke leaving the 'nozzle' in the bottle.
Tried to undo the screws holding the bottle base in place -no joy, just plenty of scraped knuckles from the bulkhead. I could get a screwdriver onto them, but there wasn't enough room to grip it & turn.
Now it looks like a case of grinding the nuts off under the wing to remove it (& my angle-grinders's U/S!)
Land Rovers. Don't you just love them!?
*She eventually surfaced at 12:30, up for 40minutes then back to bed until 16:00 (& in bed again by 20:30)

Sounds like a good party...............
Just looked in my LR Discovery manual and the Washer pumps on pre 94 are indeed a push fit.
Could the later models fit differently?
Have the dealers given you some "duff" information?
A bit late but I didn't see your message from this morning

Well she's just about recovered, Ed!
Bought an angle-grinder this morning &attacked the recalitrent bolts.
After a bit of persuasion they came out.
Now the problem is that the seal isn't living up to its job description!
At least I test filled the reservoir before I bolted it back down, so it's another trip to the dealer on Tuesday (bank holiday Monday  ) & no washers till then!
