Im assuming these are crystal lamps replacing the sealed beam?

Or crystal replacing standard?

Interested as i have the sealed beam, and to be honest, i have an lenser led T7 torch which is giving out more light than the sealed beam!!!!!!!!

They are wipac crystal replacing wipac quadoptic. Used in conjunction with ring 90% brighter h4 bulbs.

So they had H4 halogens already then with the quadoptics? or standard bulbs?

Just normal bog spec halogen to start with tried the 90% and they were better but not ad good as the crystals.

They surely would have been sealed beams from factory and a previous owner would have put halogen on?

Thats what i thought, as mine are like 3 candle power on dip & 5 candle power on full beam!!!!

Been looking at the crystal head lamps and was hoping they are a white light as opposed to a dull yellow.

If I remember in the morning I'll try get a pic of the view ahead from the cab but it is a very white light, not hid but not bad at all for the outlay.

Got sick of not being able to see on the way home from work driving in country lanes so pulled into Halifords tonight and purchased pair of  their 120% brighter Halfords Ultra Brilliance Car Bulbs. Impressive difference they are too, from yellow to now white. They seem to be on par for brightness/colour as the X-lites. Noticed one of my x-lites is blown and probably why I was more annoyed than normal with the lumination on my way home tonight

I thought the bulbs where displayed on the stand at 26 quidish each but I dunno if they had an offer on or the guy rang the order up wrong but they cost 24 squid for two... I didn't argue.
