just finished swapping the top hinges and mirrors over from the 90 the the s3.. who designed those retaing screws?? too big for a normal screwdriver, and when you do find one that fits, they are usually corroded in like someone has welded the ***** things in!!
taken me 3 hours to do 2 hinges, and the doors still dont hang right..never mind because in the week im going to swap the doors over so i have the 90 doors on the series!!
and been thinking about the engine swap too -so when i do swap it over i'm going to use the engine, radiator and front panel fom the 90 so that everything can sit where its supposed to..so i'll have a 90 - ish front end on a 1970's s3!!
and if i can figure out where to chop the roof of a 90 down so it'll fit the series i'll put the screen and a 90 roof on as well... a true hybrid!!

why not get some stainless steel one??

things are in the pipe line to fit the 90 screen and a slightly modded 90 roof :D
so it'll look like a leaf sprung 90.. really confuse the bobble hat brigade ;)
