I'm not an expert but you can make room by fitting an air conn grille.

My 90 has a massive full width intercooler with a 200Tdi, would you like me to remove my grille and take some pics for you?

you tend to have to lose the bonnet catch and the two slam panel support rods/bars, and make/fit two supporting brackets for the top or sides of the full length intercooler, and move the horn location as far as mods go. Best to replace with silicone hoses as the inlet and outlet may no longer quite be in standard position and the longer length and flexibility of silicone will make things easier. Using an aircon front panel doesn't improve fitting really - does allow front fitting of electric fans though.

Thanks for your help managed to find the solution thanks ..Yes you remove the slam plate bars and when fit the intercooler you get brackets (allisport one) that fit to the intercooler and  to the slam plate to hold it...Only other thing I think you have to grind down the bonnet catch to stop it striking the top of the intercooler. Thanks peeps.
