I have just fitted a TD 5 Disco A bar to my 88 classic.
AAAAGGGHHH!!! I hear you say.
It bolted straight to the chassis, 4 small pieces of the lower E.F.I. grille had to be removed, it does not protrude above the bonnett, and looks ace.
When I can take a pic and post, I will.
In black tubular steel, this bar looks as if it was made for the job.
A mate of mine can get these at a reasonable price, if there is any interest after I have posted a picture, let me know.
Cheers,
SPIKEY.

What do you call a reasonable price..?

Hi Paul,
I will get a price for you by Monday.

Hi Paul,
The best price my mate has is £125.00.
Mine was a freebie as he owed me some money.I don't know the retail price, but if you are interested let me know.
Cheers,
SPIKEY.

I'll give it a miss.
Thanks for asking for me.

O.K. Mate !

I don't know the retail price, but if you are interested let me know.
Dunno about the Td5 bar, but a classic RR A-Bar is normally around 110 - 120 quid plus the vat (plus carriage)
-
Thanks Tim.
No favours appear have been done for me as he only owed me £100.
I suppose trade price is better than no price !!
Apparently he can get hold of side steps , A bars, arch extensions, folding rear steps etc. for Classic's, Disco's, Defenders and Freelanders.
If any-one has any enquiries let me know ( I'll try to kick him on the price if it's cash !!)
Cheers,
SPIKEY.

judging from that price i think i will use paddocks. no offence but i think he's trying to "get rich quick".
