I'm looking for the flasher can for the indicators,
I can hear it clicking but I can't find it. :?
-
Is the relay in the same place as a Discovery??
But then again it depends upon the RR model year
-
It's a 1973 RR
-
Down by the steering column on mine, seperate unit infront of the other relays..
-
I was looking all round that area, Can you
see them by looking up the column from the
floor..?
-
Not really, had to remove the cover, the relay set is about where your right knee sits
-
Right, Looks like it's a bottom cover off the column job.
Cheers.

Of course if it's not working you can't feel for it

Didn't have time to take the dash to bit's, I ended up
doing other things, They are working, But flash very slow,
I'll have a look another day.
-
slightly diferent problem but still in relation to the flashers.
On my classic rr 84, the indicators work 100% but the hazards don't work at all.
Not looked into the problem but would assume that the hazard warning lights use the same switching relay as the indicators.
Therefore limiting the problem to the switch / power to it?
or
do they have a seperate relay?
-
seperate relay mate, its further back in the relay tray on mine (85) I had the opposite problem, working hazards but no indicators
-
Thanks steve,
makes life a lot easier knowing it is seperate.
don't you just love these plug and play cars?
