Post by: theslingers on January 04, 2013, 17:43:17
hey guys im new here! but i am no master mind of the disco.. i loved them so i brought one....lol

the only thing i wanted was a 300tdi, but i loved the TD5 look, so i found a 300tdi that had the new front end put on it...

the guy who had it before me had spent alot of money on it....

i have reciepts from ashcroft for a gear box, and overfinch for tuning and servicing.  he said it was very important to keep the reciepts for these 2 companys... i have no idea why..

altho i have a question, im currently changing my wheels, at the moment i have 20" stormers as you can see... apparently they are range rover wheels... i have HUGE spacers on there also.. whether they are on there to fit the wheels i have no idea...

i need to know how big wheels i can go on this without lifting it? ive been told 29" wheels, but i want to go to around 31"

i plan to do some travelling, and want some 15" modular silver steels running intermediate tyres good for on road, but can hold its own on medium terrain aswell...nothing to drastic...

whats involved... what steps do i have to take..... do you wanna swap wheels? :)

many thanks guys!

There are way more options for both wheels and tyres in 16 inch than there are in 15 for a disco 1.

Sweet looking ride though. Id keep the recepits for any warranty work.

The wheel look POO, sorry but they spoil the truck (nice BTW)

The spacers are there to change the PCD, hence the size of them.
