Title: mark 2 lift kits
Post by: Mad Martin the 1st on September 24, 2008, 17:42:16
does anyone know where i can get a lift kit from for my 97/98 mark 2 pajero. I have been into a previous link and found the pajero uk owners club shop, and i have currently emailed them and am waiting for a reply now. Does anybody know anyone else who deals in them orcould help me.

as on the photo in the club shop it shows 4 shocks and 4 springs and a new torsion bar. I am a bit stuck on where the 4 springs go as i only have 2 on the rear and non on the front. So i am wondering if this is right or not for my motor.

any help would be appreciated many thanks

Think you'll find that pic is the general one from Explorer — if you get their special offer it will be 2 springs and 2 HD torsion bars

Be aware that the HD stands for heavy duty — really to compensate if you have a heavy winch on the front, you can successfully wind up the torsion bars for more lift without buying these Check out this post (http://team.mudlark.info/index.php?topic=35.0)
Also rear springs off a LWB are 2" higher than a SWB ;)

So that'll just leave you the +2" shocks to source

I do know that Pajero UK have been having problems getting the Pro-Comp stuff at the moment — may be a long waiting time — not sure though
