Evening everyone, I may be in a position where sme new tyres will have to be fitted. The size is 285x75x16 and they are going the vehicle as seen in my pic.
Now I have seen various high end tyres that appear good, but are they?
They are KL71's by Kumho, Discoverer STT by Cooper and RT 03's by Hankook.
Now I do more road than off but when I do I want to know that the car is in safe hands.
Any ideas/opinions?
James

I've got the kl71's in that size on my 90, about 33" tall
Great all round tyres, very good in mud and on the road.
-
I have the Cooper STT's in 235.85R16
Fantastic tyres on and off road (all the black and Black X runs at Tong) and not too noisy on the road.

All good brands and choice is a personal thing. Me I'd go for the Cooper because they are the biggest name and a massive supplier of 4x4 tyres in the 'states, but your money won't be wasted on any of them.

I've just had 5 285x75r16 maxxis buckshot fitted to the jeep from JCS at Derby -
