I'v been offered a Fourtrack 2.8TDI, 1994 with 46k selling for £1500.
What are these vehicles like to own and is there any thing that I should look out for where buying one of these.
Is the 2.8TDI good lump I have heard that Diahatsu had problems with one of it's diesel engines.
Thanks very much for any help and advice....

the chaises are strong and dont relay rust but the bodies rust alot so check all the body mounts and behind the driver pasinger seats at the bottom of the slope and in the wheel arches.
cheers,
Nick

doesn't look bad. stick some chunky tyres on it and it wont let you down in the rough stuff.
the 2.8 daihatsu engine is great. my dad had one in an automatic range rover and we never had any probs.
go 4 it!

I use fourtraks every day for work and fun. they are amazing. but be aware that they normally rot like [!Expletive Deleted!] on the back chassi rails. check the whole chassi for rot. the engins in my oppinion are bullet proof and very rare do they go wrong.. also check the front drive shafts as they are pretty week AND MADE OF CHOCOLATE.
cheers SHREK..
