Northants Club Night
Start time is 7 to 7:30.
The meeting night is Thursday, on the last Thursday of the month, and the venue is Billing Mill.
So the next meet is Thursday 24th September 2009
at Billing Mill, The Causeway, Great Billing, Northampton, NN3 9EX
As always everyone is welcome, please ask any member of staff where we are and you will be directed to our own special area.
I hope everyone will enjoy this venue, its very pleasant indoors during the winter and has an Al Fresco area for summer dining all overlooking the lakes at Billing Marina, meals are all two for the price of one and are very good value, so obviously if you intend to eat there please grab yourself a buddy to reduce the cost.
There is a height barrier on the entrance but after checking the signed height is 7½ ft but in reality is nearer 8ft.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS, otherwise the manageress gets annoyed.
Parking Area.
After you go under the height barrier then a very sharp right over the bridge, then turn to your right when you get to the building - follow the road round the back, there is ample parking for us beyond the disabled bays.
Regards
Frank.
Please note that the postcode is not quite correct but its the nearest I can get to it.

Blimey... nowhere near beating Keith
...but I will be there!
As for overheating - I decided to clean the intercooler on Sat - stripped it all out to find that it was well bunged up with Billing mud, so I checked twixt the rad and the air con grille to find that I had a 20mm compacted mat of more Billing Mud...
Oh well... good excuse to get everything out, hose it off and reassemble - much to the Fun Prevention Officer's concern as the drive took on the appearance of a deep and muddy field on a particularly bad day....

Hi All,
It will be my first mud club meet but I will try to make it, if I get back from work in time (work in London and the M25 is always slow)
Just a note to consider,
I am only down the road form Billing and I know that a few Land Rovers around hear have gone for a walk over the past few months. one of the Landrovers stolen was parked up just 5 min drive from billing.
We also have a council site that houses persons of no fixed address thats located just over the road from billing. Its worth using any steering locks etc when parking up.
