Post by: 90Mike on March 05, 2006, 19:22:45

In 2WD theres no problems but when 4WD is selected hi or low there is a very servere knocking / banging from the front axle/wheel areas this mainly happens when drving on full lock left or right   any advise or comments welcomed thanks

ONLY on turning?

It sounds like CV joints, anormally characterised by only knocking when turning unless totally trashed.

knackered cv joints, knackered front prop joints, or loads of play in the spline, or a really shagged front diff
