ive wound both the adjusters right back and no differance can sumone suggest what i can try next plz?

Not sure if this applies to Landys but what about adusting both fronts. I had a iffy brake on my old tractor and it was actually cased by the one on the other side being out of adjustment too.

it sounds like the brake shoes are wedged, and wont release. tap the drum with a mallet while trying to rotate the drum backwards

either that or the hydraulic bit isnt releasing properly. try opening the bleed nipple, see if that makes a difference.

when u do get the drum off, have u looked at the wheel cylinders? with the shoes pulled off the cylinders you should be able to rotate the cylinder head with a screwdriver and move them in and out and no oil should be leaking under the rubber cover.

When you do manage to get the drum off, make sure that neither of the adjusters has bent. I had a similar problem with me series two. Easy to replece though.

if they dont release ,take the wheel off, loosen the blead nipples ,hit the drum with a hammer and wiggle /force the drum off and it shud cum off!
