I'll be up between christmas and new year. If you get together then, I'll see if I can get over from Bothwell! But you'll have to excuse me if I can't understand a word you say..... my wife is a Scot and I don't understand a word she says

Don't know yet.  We'll probably do the Perthshire again next summer and possibly a handful of French rounds.

Well ive been thinking all day about organising a forest drive somewhere in the highlands during dec or jan.

Im going to get in touch with the forestry commision to see what we can do. So can anyone interested please pm me so i have an idea of numbers.

Thanks

Callum

PS: A trip to drumclog is still a good idea, especialy as my 90 will be in helensburgh at the start of the year.

Was meant to have a meeting this week to discuss and organise routes and dates etc, this has been knocked on the head as the weather is stopping the people i need to talk to from getting to work.

Just a suggestion for your pub meet....

Given the distances between people and the time it takes to travel in your neck of the woods, how about a Sunday lunch meet?

Hey chaps, What happened to sunday lunch?????

Yeah the 4x4 course is good, but just good. Its going to improve over time though.

Anyway, i'm organising a On and Off road run just now through forest tracks and some seldom used single track roads. No dates as yet but should have dates announced start of next month.

Lets go for lunch

What does everybody think of a drive to applecross in august? As a road run? maybe mid august time?
Title: Re: Scotland
Post by: jay2578 on June 14, 2010, 15:53:07
sounds good to me, although I`d have to check dates etc. as we`re heading south in august sometime
Title: Re: Scotland
Post by: Highland_Defender on June 14, 2010, 21:14:34
Right now ive got the route planned for a weekend trip, so the dates can be made to suit everyone. Well try to suit everyone.

The only thing is, some people want hotels or b&b and some want camping. b&b is a happy medium.
