Title: Volt guage, is it military, whats it worth
Post by: carbore on September 25, 2007, 10:12:06
Hello,

I bought a volt guage for not a lot of pennies at a car boot intending it for my non military series3, however it does not really look right and it reads up to 30v so not as useful as it could be for me.

Its got a "ducks foot" logo, sort of an up arrow which im sure I have seen on other military things.  It has a mini calibration wheel on it, it works and is in good condition apart from a very small dent on the bezel.

Is this worth sticking on ebay or are they 2 a penny, ill keep it for something useful one day, if its worth less than say £10.

Any ideas?

The 'ducks foot' arrow indicated it's UK MoD if that helps.

Its for a 24 volt vehicle, (or boat or anything that runs 24v), worth a few bob to the right person

It will work ok on 12v though, just not very high on the scale
