Title: LPG Problem
Post by: fesuvious on July 01, 2004, 19:21:45
Hi all !
Hallo !. Can anyone give me some advice / help please;

Prob 1 : My RR classic 3.9 (1990) has an LPG system fitted. As each tank (there are 2 35litre tanks) runs low there are some really wierd (spooky house) creaking and groaning noises. Then when that tank is empty and it switches to the other it all goes away untill that tank runs low. I know it sounds daft but the noises are like that from a 'haunted house'. If you've had it you'll know what I mean. What can I do to stop it?

Prob 2: just got prob 2 fixed ! - twas the thermostat !

Please help !
cheers, matt

My 90CSW-V8 did that, I always assume that it was the expansion/contraction of the remaining LPG in the tank that caused it.
Probably be wrong though
