Title: Are front n rear diffs the same ??

Howdy , Sadly my rear diff bearing  has decided its time to try n escape, :roll:    I have a spare front diff which is ok, and was wondering if it will do the job ??   Cheers for any replies as im eagerly waiting to don the overalls and lay under the motor( again)  and of course the lovely after aroma of ep90 ,        Almost forgot to say its A 1991 V8   :twisted:  manual

They should be identiacl, though its easy to check they are the same once they are both out of a vehicle. Make sure they are both have the same number halfshaft splines.

They are identical, either 10 or 24 spline

only difference is the steering damper bracket.... 2 bolts and its gone   8)
