Title: Some landrovers I spotted when traveling in Scotland

I was looking through some old photographs and found these I thought they might be of interest.

ooo I like the pick up - guessing that and the tracked one are for forestry work.

Yes, the "roadless Traction" I think it was called is designed to work in around the ruts in the plantations, the tracked one is a Cuthbertson conversion I think, again for forestry work.

Both conversions date back to the 60's and 70's I believe.

Rich P just told me the big wheeled one had an full article published about it in LRO in recent months.

Thanks I am from Glasgow,but I live in Yorkshire,I go hill walking in the area every now and again. :lol:

im from hastings on the south coast but now live near glamis, between dundee and forfar. i occaisionally go hillwalking up my track, but usually take the landy :grin: as i say, next time youre up this way and need a pitstop give us a shout, and seeing as youre a scot i`ll forget the kettle and dig out a nice single malt :dance:
