Who's that with and what type of insurance if you don't mind me asking?

Peter Best 01621 840400
Fully Comp - 1500 miles
2006; £75
2007; £74
2008; Can't put my hands on the paperwork but can't remember an increase.

hey put that in your own "who's got the most expensive series insurance?" thread  :P
Haven't insured mine yet. Laid up. Probably should sell it, did about 50 miles in it since last MOT and same year before (that's only driving to and from MOT garage!), poor unwanted Series 1.

I'm 23 & my 3rd, fire & theft insurance on a 2a diesel is £213 a year, 10,000 miles. Lancaster Insurance.

I've just insured my new S3 with Lancaster (Discos are both with them, too!!)
01480 484848
88" County SW 2.25 petrol, £97 Fully comp, 12,000 miles.
Cheap as chips! :D
Probably cheaper these days..............

Seeing a lot of peeps have been mentioning Frank Pickles insurance recently I thought I'd get a quotation for the S1.
Still not under £100.00!
£101.60 with pretty crap policy of 1000miles max per annum and 3rd party fire and theft
Footman James £100.20 fully comp with 1500 mile limit. But had to jimmy their online form as even though classic car insurance company... do not have series 1 landrover listed.
wondering if I have a high risk occupation? Only want to drive the thing around the block once in a blue moon and also take to MOT station.

I find with a lot of these insurers you need to ring up and have a chat. I'm on an unlimited milage policy, fully comp with Footman James, 2 S2A Land Rovers (one a V8) and I'm now paying £110. Being a member of a recognised owners club also saved me £37.
